Please join us for the premiere of "Moment to Moment," a short documentary about love and resilience in the face of a debilitating disease.
This short film follows Carl and Susan, scientist and artist, respectively, as they navigate the challenges of Carl's Alzheimer's diagnosis. Unable to engage in the scientific inquiry of his prior career, Carl finds solace in his basement, dismantling discarded electronics in search of the valuable copper inside. What begins as a perhaps questionable behavior evolves into a shared artistic collaboration, as Susan turns the copper into art.
The film will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Penn Memory Center Co-Director Dr. Jason Karlawish. Panelists include:
Mike Attie - Director/Producer
Anjan Chatterjee, MD - Penn Medicine
Felicia Greenfield, MSW, LCSW - Penn Memory Center
Susan Shifrin - ARTZ Philadelphia
Teya Sepinuck - Theatre of Witness
David Wolk, MD - Penn Memory Center
